Perks

Some days, you have to look out for the little things which brighten your day.

Here are three things that perked me up today.

Finished making my birds for Rostra and Rooksmoor Galleries.

Piled them up on my newly refurbished lightbox.

Good eggs for lunch.

he'd probably have come up with this.

Nelly and Isla were floored by it,

and scoffed every last turretty floret.

I went to visit my lovely talented friend the other day,

and she showed me this book.

I couldn't put it down.

The contents of my kiln the other day.

Nothing nicer than cracking open a kiln full of colour and pattern.

Our new chest of drawers. It was very tatty to start with,

but after a bit of love and beeswax (and some new bakelite knobs)

it looks very at home in our house.

My new cardigan, thrifted of course. I love this pattern.

I was overjoyed to see it on a cardy.
