I've been wanting to post about this for ages. About a month ago, I received a very nice e-mail from the husband of a very nice blogger, saying that he had spotted one of my birds on his wife's blog, and wondered if I could make a pair of them as a gift to her for their upcoming first wedding anniversary. So after a bit of secret and stealthy emailing back and forth, we agreed on a design and I set about making them.
They turned out pretty sweet, I think.

Aw. Hope she doesn't read it before they arrive! Well done - romance facilitator - add it to your cv!
ReplyDeleteha ha, no don't worry, they were received a couple of weeks ago!
ReplyDeleteHURRAH!! I was hoping you would post about them- I am so sorry it took so long for me to do my own post about them... darn interweb. We love them so much and have finally found them a place to live where we will see them everyday. And I love how each pane is a different pattern- you're so clever!
