Side Project - The Pocket Money Shop

Nelly has been requesting to open an Etsy shop for some time, and I've always thought it would be a nice thing to do, but kept procrastinating.

Then recently she's also been asking to adopt a snow leopard, and it occurred to me that if she opened a shop, she might sell a couple of things to make her dreams of snow-leopard-ownership come true.

So there we are, a little side project we are doing together.  She's doing the painting and drawing, I'm doing the shopkeeping.  And the snow leopards are quids in.  Hopefully.

Come and have a look,  she'd be thrilled with a few "admirers", as I believe they call them on Etsy these days.

  1. Brilliant! I especially love dungaree boy's feet! Disappointed the 'mummy none of my shoes fit me' that I spied on instagram hasn't made it into the shop ;) x

    1. Ha, yes - well that was my younger daughter's artistic endeavour, and I did ask her if she'd like to join in but was flatly refused! I still might add a few of her pictures though :)

  2. Wow! Great idea Nelly. Is it wrong to hope that someone you know is ill so that you can buy them that nice card? Probably won't have to wait too long at this time of year!

  3. Absolutely gorgeous. Especially love the boy in green overalls (he looks like my son)! Good luck Nelly – I hope you make enough money for that snow leopard. I'm not sure what the going rate for snow leopards is, but your cards are great so it shouldn't take too long for you to save up.

  6. What a brilliant idea! Reminds me of my entrepreneurial younger self. I'm ashamed to say I wouldn't have spent my earnings on anything other than sweets for myself. Good luck! x

Vicky - I do think there might be a visit to the local sweetshop. Saving the Snow Leopards is hungry work.
