Greece (I)

Back from our holiday! A week in Lindos, staying in a traditional Greek house, impeccably furnished and a short walk from the beach.  It was really very wonderful.

I took a lot of photos, so over the next few days I'm posting some of the things we saw and did, all in a rather non-coherent kind of way.

I miss the sun already.

*I am enjoying seeing a few blog faces, thanks to Elizabeth at Fine Little Day's thoughtful post.  So here I am too.  I particularly like Rike's gif.

  1. The holiday photos are beautiful. I love the relaxed and sunny feeling in the photos. By the way, I want to eat what is on that table! I can't wait to see more.

    1. Thanks Jude - I'm really missing it. This thin watery sun we have in the uk is no substitute!

  6. Arrrrgggghhhh! I really want a Greek holiday! Like this! How did you find the place? All i keep coming up with when i search are new touristy complexes that could be anywhere. Is driving a 'must' (i can't drive)? You're photos are beautiful!

    1. It was via Owner's Direct. There are quite a few privately owned houses that you can rent in Lindos I think. Driving not necessary. Tolerance for overweight tourists riding on donkeys is though ;)

    2. Thanks Flora! I shall investigate further. You've re-ignited my enthusiasm.
