Contemporary Stained Glass Himalayan Poppy Window

A recent commission for the door of an artist's garden studio.

The glass used for the poppies is some beautiful English mouthblown
with a slight 'milky' quality which I was given by a friend
who had inherited it from her father (also a stained glass artist).
It was perfect for the tissue-paper quality of poppy petals.

  6. Slightly odd question... is there a function that allows your visitors to check a box to be notified of follow up comments? It's just sometimes I forget to check and may miss responses. Just a thought. x

    1. Good question... just had a look but can't see anything. I know you can on wordpress or typepad or one of the other blogging platforms. Anyhoo, now you have a blog I should reply over there. I'll do it right now!

  9. Hi! Great to hear it's being fitted next week. This picture was taken on the lightbox, which is why the background is obscured - I'm sure it will look wonderful with your garden visible through it.

I'll take a photo and email it to you.
