Nelly is presently cutting and sticking and making an Easter Bonnet... I fear the ocean of glue on the table may take some time to remove. I have also been making similary Spring-themed items. On our hunt round the 2nd hand shops to find tatt, sorry, treasures to put on the bonnet, I found a nice little Duralex plate that I am experimenting with painting on. I have photographed it before I put it in the kiln in case it explodes....
Inspired by seeing 2 little bluetits flitting and chirping overhead on our way back from school yesterday. Plus a few catkins, just because they are my favourite thing at the moment. If the paint firing goes well, I'm thinking a bit of gingham enamel on the birds would finish it off nicely.
