Nothing To See Here.

A couple of interesting commissions at the design stage.

A panel that I have finished and submitted for this but don't want to show yet because I want to keep it for a small group exhibition I'm joining in with next May.

A cat that has gone missing for 2 days who normally doesn't even leave the sofa, let alone the garden walls.

So not much to see I'm afraid, but I have re-opened my Folksy shop, if the lovely people that buy my work prefer to buy via a British company.

  1. Oh, Flora, I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. I really hope it comes back to the sofa soon. xx

    1. I know. I only have myself to blame for looking enviously at your kitten... He hasn't turned up squashed yet, so there's still hope. It is not our Otto but the other one who is a very timid/greedy chap. Very unusual for him not to be winding around my legs on the lookout for some grub.

  3. oh no flora. don't lose hope though, my friend xanthe's cat went missing for 2 weeks then nonchalantly pottered in one day. i have almost caved in on the cat front. it was the cat teepee that did it, have you seen them? and we were also throwing around the name otto, then seventy tree had her baby otto, it's sweeping the nation! hope he comes back soon :-(

    1. Thanks Fran - you give me hope, although I did refer to him in the past tense today, so my brain is obviously thinking the worst, even if I'm trying to tell it otherwise.

It's funny the Otto thing... I wanted to call him Eric, but Isla was having none of it, so we batted a few around and that was the one she liked best. Meanwhile "Isla" must be headed for the top ten girls' names - there are little Islas popping up everywhere!
