Such a gem of a shop. If I ran a shop, I would want it to look just like this!
Check out that Ben Javens painted shopfront, and the Gemma Correll mural inside.
Did you know that the very nice Dave and Sally who run Comma are the people behind everyone's favourite tea towel emporium, To Dry For?
They run an annual competition to design a tea towel, which I fancied having a go at this year, more for fun than anything else. This was my (non-winning) entry, entitled Dishfunctional.
Because, you know, what's not to love about a slightly needy selection of washing up equipment?
A big thank you to everyone who shared and signed the petition in my last post - keep spreading the word :)
Oh Flora that teatowel rocks! You should make these up to sell, I'd love one. And that shop is amazing, what a fantastic independent. x
ReplyDeleteThanks Jen! I know, I could spend some serious hours in that shop :)
DeleteThat shop looks like a little slice of heaven in Oxford! Might have to take a trip just to go and visit it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I love, love, love your tea towel. Ha ha, "dishfunctional"! Going to have to check out what was the winning entry now. That would take some beating...
Thanks Sabrina, was just a bit of fun really, I had the idea and thought I should do something with it!
DeleteOH! love the shop, they have one of those kitchen units I so would like to own for my sewing things. Yummy. My most favourite part of your teatowel is the little dude that is a little whiffy, bless him.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm very fond of him too. And useless flat sponge guy. Who uses those?!
DeleteCongrats on your new stockist, the shop looks great doesn't it! Your tea towel design is 'puntastic' too, what a great idea:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Moira x
DeleteWow, this is amazing! Good luck Flora! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
